Magnolia flower bud is used for stuffy nose, runny nose, common cold, sinus pain, hay fever, headache. Can be used for any nasal or sinus problem, especially related to Wind-Cold invasion.
• Any nasal or sinus conditions: nasal congestion or obstruction, nasal discharge, loss of sense of smell, related headache.
• Wind-cold or wind-heat: key herb (first choice) for sinusitis and rhinitis.
• Open the nose.
• Antifungal.
Brewing Guide: To prepare the tea, rinse tea cup and teapot with hot water. Use about 3 grams for every 500ml of water. Use as decoction, place in cheesecloth while decocting as this herb may be irritable to the throat.
